My threads finally arrived along with some more needles and some scissors (had to justify the postage cost, that's my story and I'm sticking to it ). I seem to be plagued by on this project, only a few stitches here and there but it's irritating even so. But for the most part it's enjoyable. I keep finding myself thinking "wtf?" when stitching some of the colours in it (like bright purple!) but they blend together really well.
Here's the latest pic of it, still isn't looking like anything in particular yet, especially if you don't know what it is, but I don't think it will for a while.
Very nice update, and I definitely would order extra bits too, it saves on postage that way and it's just fun to get stash!! I hope the stays away from your beautiful project now!!

Hehe, I could see why you say "wtf". The purple color is really strange. But I hope it could blend well like you said. Keep stitching up! Can't wait to see how it is done! You have a great choice in this chart! Beautiful white tiger
That is so Beautiful and delicate and is going to be amazing when it is all done. Of course you need to order those other things we need a good supply of scissors and needles all the time.!!

Oh it does blend really well when you're not looking at it so close up. So do the blues and greens that are in there.

Really moving quite quickly on this one now I've got all the threads I need. I've been playing around with parking and working over just a few 10x10 squares rather than my usual cross country and it feels like it's going faster but that could just be because I'm seeing blocks completed rather than having stitches spread out all over the place. Also makes the confetti stitches seem less of a problem. Not that this has been confetti heavy so far but it's helped with Train of Dreams

ha ha ha that is me too!! In Italy there are no decent store for stitching so I have to buy everything online and I always end up getting some more because it feels like it make more sense ha ha

Lol, I'm in Germany and while I'm sure there are good stores for stitching I can't drive so can't get to them. I try to buy everything I need in one go to avoid paying more in postage than I need and I figured you can never have enough needles. And a pair of scissors was needed anyway coz my last ones went walkabout.
Thanks all, I'm loving this one. Can't wait to get more done so I can actually see the tiger emerging properly. Plus I need to finish this or Train of Dreams before I can start another one
