natural_isis wrote:Everyone's work looks so great! Looking forward to next month. Weekend is going to be busy, so I thought I'd post April's UFO now. This one is for all you cat lovers. Catnap by Dylan Allaire. This is a kit from Kustom Krafts, done on 14 ct Khaki aida. I don't normally work on 14 ct, but it came with the kit, and I want to make it into a pillow, so the 14 ct works out well. Here's what it should look like and the pitiful amount that I did on it before abandoning it.

Looking forward to seeing everyone's projects and progress this month.

Such a sweet pattern Liz have completed a few cats in my time this one will be great when done:-)

There are lovely UFO on this thread.
I have started an unofficial rotation..we'll see how that goes  and the first seven days of a the month are being dedicated to Vine, on going since 1998!!! the design, which came as a kit, is based on one of William Morris's wall coverings.
Here is where I am today.

OK starting back is scary...I opened my project cupboard this afternoon and was shocked to see the variety in there-deep breath. I am not even sure I remember the skills I once had.
Sooooo baby steps took out a half done card kit called Rose Arbour its on 22ct Hardanger so that's a bit of a challenge esp the Holbein stitch. If I manage I will make a special card sampler for my sisters 60th next month as 2 rows are done and sitting there waiting.

One day I may be doing complex stuff like you guys again:-)

Hi there
I am glad to read that UFO's are coming out. I looked at 'Kittens in Boots' and thought that my Christmas one can wait a little. I have dedicated about 12 hours so far and have nearly completed a quarter now - that is the tulips in flowerpots and the part of the picture window. Wish I had a decent camera and computer. I have been stitching at night mostly when I cannot sleep. I am getting into this one again and hope to have it completed by this time next month - wishful thinking??? I do not know.

Hi everyone
I thank you for your comment Christel. Though I must say that I would have been further advanced on my UFO but for having slept! I am trying to squeeze the last few moments on it in before it turns midnight and becomes the 7th - cannot see me stopping though. Hope everyone has the same thoughts about their project.

I started a little early for UFO club but today I finished the little Forever Friends kit that I started way back in 1996.

Now we'll see if I can get it a bit cleaner....

I used to be able to click on the link of my photobucket and bring it into this forum but since photobucket keeps changing their format, I can't do it to show my progress updated of my "Red and Yellow Maple Leaves" design that I have been stitching lately. I am almost done.

I posted a photo into my blog.....http://socialsue.blogspot.com" target="_blank" target="_blank" target="_blank

I don't know how to show my photo of stitching projects in this forum for now.

Sue, very pretty update on your blog. To post the pic here, choose the picture you want to post on photobucket. To the right of the picture should be the image links available. If you don't see IMG code or IMG thumb code, click "update link options" beneath the codes which are there (probably HTML codes) and it should take you to a page where you can check which codes you want to show. Return to your picture and then it should work the way it used to. Click on the link which will copy it and then return here and paste that link into the post. The HTML codes won't work here. I think those are what you need for posting on websites like your blog.

Hope this helps.
