Thank you everyone. I am enjoying this project. I have now finished page 2 and the first bat has started to appear.

While stitching, I couldn't see any of the detail in the bat. It wasn't until I stepped back that I saw the lines appear to define his wings etc. Cool. Page 3 will get me the rest of the upper portion of the bat as well as the tip of the dragon's tail.

I'm still aiming for a page per month. So, since I am ahead of schedule for April, for the next week I will work on a couple of my quilting projects as well as Double Trouble, which have all been neglected. That's the plan, anyway. MIIHO may just call my name too loudly to ignore. lol

Thank you for the continued encouragement. It really has made a difference.

Thank you everyone. It's this type of encouragement that sure helps when working on such a large project.

I had a block of about 100 stitches that had 28 colours in it, almost all browns and dark greys. That was quite daunting but, since I knew it would result in a detailed bat, it didn't bother me as much as it would have at the very beginning. And, I wanted to make sure I could give an update with my batty friend so that motivated me to get through the section as well. :)

Congrats on finishing page 2!! It definitely helps having people cheer you on. With my first HAED it took me forever to get into the swing of things. And I still haven't finished a page on that (too many other WIPs). I'm very impressed you've stuck with it!
