Not mine but too pretty not to show :)

Post by Oriettait »

I spent the past weekend in Croatia and while strolling in Rovinj historical center I saw those beautiful works of art. they are stitched with one strand of silk on a very fine linen cloth. Unfortunately the lady who made them was not there and the daughter little knew about them beside the price (shame on her!!) anyhow they were so nice I thought to take some picture to show you as I have had so little time to stitch lately that I am laking progress!!

That is remarkable work -- dedication and eyesight needed, I think. Thanks for sharing! Did you find seeing them inspirational or just frustrating, since you've not had much time to stitch yourself?

Wow! I can only imagine how good they looked in real life as cameras never seem to do stitching justice IMO!
