Van Gogh Lane with Poplars - Framed!

Post by Agatha »

Long time lurker, first time poster. :) I reached the milestone of "First Full Row of Pages" done on this project, so I thought it was time to show it off. Stitched 2 over 1 on 18 ct.

The chart is from Cross Stitch Collectibles-

I know a lot of you are cat ladies also, so my "helpful" kitty was included (she likes to steal bobbins).

You guys are too sweet! Thanks for your compliments. Fawn (the cat) says thanks, too, although she can't fathom why I spend so much time stitching instead of cat-snuggling.

Secret confession: I love confetti. The back of this project looks like thread jungle, but I think it's fun and challenging. No two squares are the same!

Because of my work schedule, I more or less can only stitch every other week. It takes me 5-6 weeks to finish a page, but I will post updates periodically. I am a one project at a time kind of girl, so fortunately I really love this chart, because I'm going to be working with it for a long time yet.

I do so love the autumn color palette. This is quite lovely. You're making great progress. I wonder if I could "learn to love" confetti. :thinks:

Looking forward to your next update.

Wonderful! The colours are amazing! I don't mind confetti either but it can be a bit challenging. Do you park or cross country?
