Sooo beautiful! :D Is this the fabric that comes with the kit? It looks like something smaller, linen?

Your work is beautiful! I haven't had such a big project any where close to a finish, so I can't rightly say, but I think I'd want to go ahead an finish it if I was that close too.

I must confess, I feel the same way when I get about 3/4 of a way though a project... maybe too much time looking at the same thing. I just want to get on to something else!
But really, this is so beautiful! I can't wait to see the final product!
How long has it taken you to get to this point?

To be honest Maddy, I'm not sure how many hours it has taken. I started it some time ago, then stopped to do some other projects, and recently got back into it. I just felt a bit like a change of scene, perhaps like you said, just looking at the same thing for so long, but after getting it out again, I am going to complete it. Cold weather and snow predicted here, might be a good opportunity!

How do you get on with the Dimensions gold charts? They confuse me and I gave up on the only one I have done but I have so many in my stash I'm desperate to get on with!!

Niki xxx

I haven't had a problem with the dimensions gld charts Niki, perhaps they vary between charts, but don't give up!

Thanks for all the comments, and some of you made the comment about leaving it at that stage to work on something else. I do regret that somewhat, but one of my favoutite artists is Kim Jacobs, and when I saw that HAED had introduced some charts of her work, I couldn't help myself.
My husband said I was making a mistake, and I told myself I would do just one page. I am on to the second one now, but once that is finished, will go back to Woodland Enchantress.

That's good, I have this kit too, so I'm glad that It can look as good as this on the fabric that comes with the kit, because I'm going to stitch it on that fabric too. :)

Great work on this beautiful design. I have this too in my stash as last year there was an offer on dimensions kits buy 2 and get a third free. I got Eagle eye view which is my current WIP, woodland enchantress and one with wolves on which the name escapes me.

I am looking forward to doing this one as soon as the eagle is done.

Thanks for sharing this lovely piece.

This is so pretty. I have it too. I keep wanting to begin this one and I know I will think of my husband all the time I'm working on it as he thought it was pretty. Nice to see how beautiful it's coming out on the material. Wasn't sure how the grey would look. Lovely, lovely work you've done.
