Christmas Stocking

Hi all. Sorry for the delay in posting. I've been keeping up with your progress but forgot my password (again). We also have a new addition in the forum of a very mischievous black lab pup from RSPCA. I've attached my update of the stocking (almost done, just back stitching left) and a pic of Bo (short for Bosun, from my husband's seafaring days), Hope you like.

Thanks everyone. There's not a great amount of backstitching to do really. Facial features and a bit round the bird/fence. The backstitching on the fur trim was originally black but when I did it it looked too harsh so I unpicked it and restitched in a light brown colour, looks much better.

It's so hard to find time to stitch now with the little one - he's into everything at the moment.

Thanks for your lovely comments. This is the second stocking I've done for my nephew and his wife. When I took the first one round last Christmas Eve, they loved it and asked me to do this one for little Phoebe. The trouble is each one takes me about 10 months of daily stitching (as you know) and I've heard a rumour that they're trying for baby 3 so that's next year's stitching taken care of. Oh dear, and I so want to do some of my own projects.
