This year I am giving away my cross stitches to my boyfriend's family. I have picked the perfect patterns for all of his family except his dad and stepmom. Their home is decorated with antiques. Stacie likes horses, and they both love their guns. They like to fish and have their own stocked pond. They're kind of religious (Christian). Their home also has a western feel to it. Their bowls have stars on them and the rims are made to look like a lasso. They've got salt and pepper shakers with spurs on them. They like Western things. Something related to family would be fine. But I really want to be able to stitch "The Martins" at the bottom of the pattern.
I just need something simple enough that I can complete it before Christmas. I don't do much with my free time other than cross stitch. I basically want something that will fit in an 8"x10" frame or smaller.

I know I've seen a western type wedding sampler with lasos, spurs and country stars, just can't think of pattern name right now. I'll search a few websites.. It's out there somewhere... possibly Leasure Arts.

Take a look at this cowboy boot pattern at 123... It's not the one I was thinking of, but you could easily add their names to this.

I can't remember where I saw it but there is an ornament pattern out there with Santa decorating a cactus...it could be a Stoney Creek pattern?

I do like this one! Hoping it's not too large of a project to finish before Christmas.MaggieM1750 wrote:Take a look at this cowboy boot pattern at 123... It's not the one I was thinking of, but you could easily add their names to this.
