HELP!

I'm working on my grandmother's Christmas project and I've run out of thread for my backstitching. I've googled conversion charts for the dimensions color 15381 and it gives me DMC 938. It's close, but I think it's noticeably a different shade of brown. are there any other DMC numbers that may be closer?

It's too close to Christmas to request more from the company.....what do I do?!?!?!

If you don't have a color at home that matches, I would take the project (or a piece of the floss if you have any left) to Joann or Hobby Lobby or your LNS and do a physical comparison for the closest color. You could look at the online color charts but the colors won't be true due to differences in monitors or laptop/tablet screens.

I agree---that's exactly how I would do it too!!

As its only single strand would it really show the difference If you used DMC 938
