I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry

I haven't stitched much at all, and when I did I stitched that variation... But I am working on Holly now and hope to finish it today or tomorrow, honestly!

Here's one of the variations (the other two I charted/planned use 8-armed eyelets or Rhodes stitch, but I haven't actuallt stitched models for those) and I'm really quite pleased with those open Algerian eyes:-)!

That looks lovely Mabel. It's really surprising how changing a couple of elements of a design can alter the whole look. Good to hear that 'Holly' is nearly with us, that means I can start sorting some colours out!!!! (Only joking, do it at your own speed)

Oh that is so pretty. That would look so good in blue and silver or green and gold. What a lovely pattern. :applesauce:

:applesauce: :applesauce: :applesauce: I like the variation in the piece. Each design is similar but being able to make them slightly different makes them a little more unique. Hope that makes sense.

Beautiful. As always.

Very nice. Like the pulled eyelets, of course, but they also add a lot of depth and texture.

First of all apologies for not posting anything much except to keep this thread reasonably up to date -- life is rather busy at the moment (this week we have commitments on four evenings out of the five week days) but I hope it'll quiten down a bit over the next few weeks.

Stitching-wise I'm preparing for the workshop at the Spring Knitting & Stitching Show at Olympia (London) in March, and also for at least one but hopefully more charity workshops for our church's Building Fund (the building we have is beginning to crumble :-( ) in June and July.

And (fanfare :horn: ) I have FINALLY finished Floral Lace - yes, here is Holly which completes the series:

:applesauce: :applesauce: This is a stunning group of designs, Mabel. If you had a wish list on your website there is not doubt these would make it on my list. then again, most of your designs would be on my list so I guess there really isn't any need for a wishlist, is there?
