:applesauce: :applesauce: WOW!! I hadn't seen this one before and as all of JE's ladies, she is beautiful and as with all of k4b's stitching it is a lovely start! I am going to really enjoy watching your updates on these. I hope they will be frequent.

but i love it! the reds really pop! gorgeous! and i saw your post about linen and q snaps---i will hope for the best with the 11 by 11. i think my wrists are strong! lol.

i know linen is easier for quarter stitches, but..well you're gonna show me that!

I see in your updates you have goofy on your fabric, where did you get the needle keeper? Thank you in advance.

looking more closely--do you stitch by color rather than section?

Usually I don't stitch by color--at least not to that extreme, but this skirt is so big and for some reason I'm finding it is easier for me to do it that way--one thing about the way I stitch, about the only thing that is always the same is that I cross the stitches all the same direction. I have a tendency to stitch differently, just to keep on top of things

Another week and not quite as much progress as I'd hoped for but it is coming along nicely---most of the red is done but there's still a lot left to do. Here is what she looks like now

Image

and this is part of why I didn't get quite as much done this week---I started on a sampler sal on one of the facebook groups and it's a weekend project. Here is what mine looks like so far--it's on a hand dyed 32 count belfast linen piece

The sampler is cute, and you're making good progress on your snow queen. She'll be beautiful.

:applesauce: :applesauce: Snow Queen is looking good. You are making good progress with such a pretty sampler being stitched at the same time! Love both of these projects.

i love the progress on snow queen! the pink? looks so pretty next to the red. and then the hint of blue. her skirt is so fluid.

and the other sampler--wow! how elegant and precise. the way to happiness is...cross stitching?

you got a heck of a lot done! i am lucky to do 45 minutes a night.

Free is good...fits with my Stitch for Stash budget and I really like the design and the sentiment. Not that I need another project, but... :-)

@rotfl: @rotfl: @rotfl: @rotfl: the more the merrier, I rather got dragged into joining, a recent new facebook friend from denmark talked me into it lol. Free is definitely great and you can easily take your time stitching it up too. The facebook group is doing 1 part every weekend, or that is the plan, but some are just doing it as they choose to.

 The Snow Queen Karen and the colours in the skirt are giving it shape and movement. Beautiful.

That sampler is gorgeous and for once I am rather tempted by it. Might have another look at it when my head is clearer. Very humid and headacy weather here today.
