Hello from Upstate NY

I'm new to the group. I've recently started cross stitching again after putting it down for about 15 years. But thanks to a floor magnifier I am able to see well enough to pick it back up. My favorite designer is Alessandra Adelaide. I just can't get enough of her work. I am currently working on Garden Heart and fighting a strong urge to start Clover! I hope to be an active member of the group and learn some new tips.

I too started cross stitching again about 6 months or so ago and am loving it. I just
discovered AAN with the Just Cross stitching magazine last year. I love her designs and am currently working on Coffee.

Thanks for the warm welcome. We are from all over aren't we. I am from the Capital District near Albany. Currently I am working on Garden Heart, Recipe for a Magical Night and Clover . LOL looks like a lot in writing. Yes magnifier are wonderful couldn't imagine stitching without it . I recently finished Coffee have Tea ready to go : I agree this is a pleasant obsession. I'm really enjoying it, although my knitting is suffering because of it. I don't seem to be able to find time for both. I will post my wips but need to get some pics uploaded first. Talk to you soon

Hello all!! So excited to be a part of this group! I'm amazed at how spread over the globe we are. So many exotic beautiful countries! I'm watching the Olympics just so I can catch glimpses of the scenery. Breath taking. Tiffstitch from nearby VT...I'm wondering how close to the NY boarder you are and if there are any CS shops near you. I have found NOTHING in NY. With the exception of AC Moore, Michaels, Jo-Anne Fabrics that is. I'm looking for a "shop" not a craft store.. Serinde it really is a most agreeable habit. Helps keep me relaxed. I've got my camera ready today I'll take some pics of my WIP's
