Finally! September has been finished: DMC pearl cotton ＃5 371, Anchor pearl ＃8 371, Carrie's Creation threads Bittersweet and Antique Gold, and Wildflowers Woodlands (076) -- I only used the blue part of this thread around the outside frame.

Stunning, Serinde. I took some time off from Hardanger after stitching all those Christmas coasters and cards, but need to get on with my last 3 mts as well.
I love the colors you have chosen. It reminds me of intricate antique jewelry.

I have a bit of a confession to make, I have completed them all however I did the last one as a stand alone using the same colours I have used throughout and made it into a birthday card which I forgot to take a pic of! then realized that I have not enough of the one thread to do it again on the main body of work so it's kind of got UFO'd for the moment especially as I have been working like crazy on 2 others works that are for deadlines in March and April.

Mabel you are a total inspiration and I have made many birthday cards using these designs as a starting point and they are always much admired and oooed and ahhed over, people say how clever I am when actually they are such a doddle and so satisfying to whip up.

I do hope you do another SAL next year as I would love to learn more about stitching this way. I did buy a book but the explanations are not as good as yours by a long stretch

Rather belatedly but Serinde those colours really make the design stand out, I love the effect of the satin stitch band!

cristaltipps, I'm really pleased you and others have enjoyed the SAL, and that my descriptions/instructions/diagrams have been helpful. SAL2015 is on the backburner for a little bit, but I am definitely collecting ideas!

Well I sneeked in a little time away from the Indian Chief to get this one finished....
It's April! I am soooo far behind with this. Hopefully when I finish the chief I can devote my time to this SAL better.


Not perfect but I'm going to do them all again in different colors so I'm chalking this one up as practice.
