Dear art lovers, today I will present a counted cross stitch tapestry that I designed and cross stitched. I used 138 colors from the Coats-Puppets palette, the cloth has 100 points/squared centimeter, I needed 90 charts in A4 format, the stitching was done using Petit Point.

Another great piece of work to go along with your other work, Counted cross stitch tapestry 140 colors (finished). You've been very busy to have both done. Any more for us to view? We're enjoying the real nice work done. BTW thanks for sharing.
I wasn't sure what Petit Point was so I had to look it up. Shared link for anyone else that may want to know also. Not sure what Coats-Puppets palette is yet. Someone may chime in. Always something new to learn. http://needlepoint.about.com/od/needlep ... estion.htm" target="_blank
leroy, puppets is a thread made by coats, the same company that makes anchor, puppets is their "economy" line.
the 100 stitches per cm2 works out to 25ct fabric, did you use tenting or full cross? just curious.

I am not really used with the English terms when it comes to cross stitching, so I can't tell you for sure if I used tenting or full cross.
I uploaded some YouTube videos with me working, I would really appreciate it you told me if it's tenting or full cross.
Viewing the links to Youtube jocellogirl confirms it's tent stitching work done on the video, it helped to know that is the type of stitch and a huge help and to see more of your work is your web site, http://www.gobelins-tapestry.com" target="_blank" target="_blank. I also now understand that there's a difference in stitching methods, you're located in Romania. The videos show your stand is very big to have a few pages in front of you to view. Your material is tacked down on the frame and another material or possibly a thin cardboard frames the cloth. I'm always amazed how different the methods are done to achieve the same results. I see the kits that are available with the gobelin kits on your web site and the Coats-Puppets threads with images of the kits. The symbols are marked on each floss card and 30% extra on each one. Very nicely done. Your Facebook page also has a large assortment of kits available too. https://www.facebook.com/gobelinstapestry" target="_blank" target="_blank. Very impressive.
