I am new here, my name's Michelle, I am from Derry in Ireland but I live in Newcastle, England and work as a software tester.
I am 30 years old eek! and have been stitching since I was 11 when I taught myself to stitch a Winnie the Pooh bookmark as a gift for my penpal, the rest they say is history!
Other hobbies include reading, watching box sets, looking after my guinea pigs, penpalling and spending way too much time online!
I hope I enjoy my time here, I am looking forward to making some great friends

I'm sure you'll love it here since you love stitching, being online, guinea pigs, reading and I'm not sure, but is watching box sets mean dvds? tv? or something else I don't know about? Everyone here loves much the same things though I'm thinking pets in general for most of us, not necessarily guinea pigs, though there are a few around here also. What types of projects do you like to stitch? Hope you'll post pictures for us. We love pictures! Looking forward to getting to know you.
