Thanks again for all your kind words! :D

@ Oriettait:  . And yes, you can use Anchor floss for it. The DMC floss numbers are also quoted, and I'm using these as I already had much of the quoted DMC floss (had bought these for previous stitching projects).

Oops, pressed the 'submit' button too soon  . Hereby the promised photo update of the letter T...

After the letter S comes the letter T of tuinornament (= garden ornament) and terracotta (=terracotta). I started making a picture of the progress of each day in stead of the added colors (like I did for the letter S):

Image
1. the way the T looked after day one

Image
2. At the end of day two

Image
After day 3.

After trying it for three days, I noticed I prefer to make a picture of each added color :? . So, here the progress comes with a picture of each added color:

Image
dark blue added

Image
dark green

Image
medium green

Image
another dark green color

Image
light green

Image
light blue

Image
medium blue added

Image
two missed  orange/ brown stitches in the middle of the left pot

Image
light green

Image
finished with a bright yellow color :D

Next, I'll update the letter Y. I started working on this one only yesterday. I'm quite busy this week on the job hunting and Easter preparation front (and secretly also stitching my Cinderella project in a few spare hours:wink: ), so I'm afraid it will take a little time before I can post the update for the letter Y...

For now: happy stitching and happy Easter everyone!

I really like to see so many progress pictures! It's such fun. Feels like I'm right there with you!

(When I take my pictures like that, DH says I should put them together in a progress VIDEO. I'm not that talented, but maybe you are?)

Really nice work!

All of a sudden, I realised it's been over a year since I updated on the sampler. I'm soooo very sorry for the long overdue update!

First I would like to thank the lovely ladies for your kind and encouraging comments!
As Pattiebelle suggested
When I take my pictures like that, DH says I should put them together in a progress VIDEO. I'm not that talented, but maybe you are?
, I tried before but couldn't find a way to include a video. Does anyone know if it's possible and if so: how to do that?

Because it's been so long since I showed you the progress, I'll start with a little recap.

My goal is finishing this sampler before my fathers birthday:
Image

My progress up to early March 2013:
Image

So the letters R, S, T, Y & Z needed to be stitched. I've posted the progress pictures of the R, S and T before.
The R is of rhubarb:
Image

The S of snoeischaar (=secateurs/ pruning scissors), schop (=shovel), spitvork (=digging fork), schep (=scoop), and schaar (= scissors):
Image

The T is of tuinornament (= garden ornament) and terracotta (=terracotta):
Image

So, as I allready had stitched the letters u, v, w & x, the next one I started on was the Y of IJslandse papaver (iceland poppy) and IJzeren hek (iron gate).

Image
1. start of the poppy

Image
2. finished the flower head

Image
3. start of the iron gate

Image
4.

Image
5.

Image
6. Start of the leaves

Image
7.

Image
8.

Image
9. Finished the Y so far; the text and backstitching/ detailling will I do later on...

To prevent this post the contain to much information/ pictures, the progress of the final letter Z will be in the next post. The Z is of zonnebloem (sun flower) and zomerkoninkjes (strawberry)

Look forward to your comments, and again: I'm sorry for the long wait!
