Hello everyone . I thought I would introduce myself. I'm Anne and I live in Somerset, UK. I have been stitching since 1998 but don't have as much time to stitch as I used to as I have 3 children: 10, 8 and 22 months . I have recently finished stitching a wedding sampler for my sister which took me 18 months to stitch! Just finished it in time for their first wedding anniversary !! I will post a photo of it if I can work out how. I am currently working on an old UFO I started years ago. It is The Antique World Map by Jane Greenoff and I am looking forward to start stitching Big Cats by Tilton Crafts when I am feeling brave enough .

Hello Anne and welcome to the forum from South Carolina! It's amazing that you have any time to stitch given how busy you must be with three children and one of them a toddler! We love pictures and they are pretty easy to post. This thread, Posting Pictures into a Thread, explains how to do it. If you have any questions, just ask. Looking forward to seeing your photos and to getting to know you.

Two kids getting close to those teenage years and a toddler! No wonder you've little time to stitch. Just remember, even if you can only get a few stitches in, they will add up and you'll finish (like you did the wedding sampler). The nice thing about missing a "deadline" for a wedding, Christmas, birthday, etc., is there is always one next year - so technically they're never late, right?

As a mother of three myself (12, 11, and 4), I feel your pain! My stitching time is usually after everyone's gone to bed and I feel accomplished if I even get three or four stitches in before I fall asleep. Looking forward to your work!
I love your pics, especially the map! I've got one in my gallery, and have been working on another (this one is for my sister and brother-in-law) since February that I won't be finished with until sometime in late 2016 if I'm lucky (you can see a pic of it here: http://www.crossstitchforum.com/viewtop ... 00#p642610" target="_blank). They are really fun to work on, aren't they?
Hi Anne and Welcome from me in sunny and warm Brisbane, its great to have you join us.
Love the wedding sampler, such a pretty lacey border and beautifully stitched. The map is a real challenge me thinks but just remember it is one stitch at a time that gets it finished.

Love the wedding sampler. It is so elegant! And the map is great! Looking forward to more updates on that one.
