The kitties look absolutely adorable. I'm glad you decided against changing it. I'm sorry it wasn't more fun to work on. The TW design is stunning. I've seen it done several times, and I always love to see it finished. And as for that Beauty and the Beast piece...as a huge lover of all designs Disney, I can't wait for pictures of it to start popping up.

Thank you for sharing you updates. :D

:applesauce: :applesauce: I'm glad that you finished the cat piece as I think it is adorable! And the Sampler is beautifully done. That same sampler is one of the first projects I ever stitched and had framed and it is also one of the few pieces I have on my dining room wall. I look at and sometimes can't believe that I took that on, but I love TW and for years she was my favorite designer and still is on the top of the list! I think your Mom is giving you a great Xmas present and don't forget to post a picture of it when you have it framed!

Oh I love the cats so much! The second one from the left in the down section looks just like mine :D You did such a good job and I like how the backstitching contours the fur of the kitties.

Your sampler is also so well done! Here I especially like the different patterns.

I'm pretty excited by my start of Beauty and the Beast. The middle didn't seem particularly exciting so I found the top left corner and began stitching from there. It wasn't until several days later that I realized if I miscounted anywhere there will be quite a bit of frogging to do. But everything has been matching up so far and you can even see the outline of a gargoyle in the lower left part of the stitching.

Since so many of you enjoy seeing the kitties, I thought I'd show off my supervisor. I don't think he particularly likes my stitching since he's of the firm opinion my lap belongs solely to him but Radar will tolerate my attempts so long as he isn't disturbed.

:applesauce: :applesauce: Lovely start on Beauty and the Beast! Radar looks like he knows he is making a huge sacrifice by allowing you to stitch rather than give him all the attention he deserves (which is all of your attention). I expect he demands appropriate rewards. If he is anything like Laverne.

You've made a great start on Beauty and the Beast. And Radar is adorable - even when he's making it clear he is not pleased with your behavior. :D

That look says it all doesn't it. Welcome to the world of stitching Radar and you need an ear rub as a thank you for putting up with less attention. Here's another ear rub from Tuppy.

What great progress you are making on this lovely design and such great colours too. Well Done. :applesauce: :applesauce: :applesauce:

Been quite awhile since I posted an update. There's been all the fuss of the holidays followed by my falling and breaking an ankle. While I might not be able to do much walking, at least I can still stitch. I kept thinking I would wait until I had actually gotten some stitching done but than I realized I was halfway though the second page, which has been quite a bit of stitching.
