What ambition! I love this design and have it myself, definitely on the list down the line!

I also love to see the different ways people tackle their projects, everyone is so different. The sky looks amazing in this one but I would have started with the eagle; I don't know how you've not tempted seeing his outline . What a great job though, keep it up!

I am tempted to do the eagle but I committed myself to save it for last as I think it would make for a awesome picture at the stage where the background is complete and just the main feature, the eagle, is missing. I do think "it would be so easy to just start him now" but I will wait. It will all get done in the end.

Thanks for the comments everyone. Yes, we the view from our patio and has made all the hard work worth it to get here. I don't think we will get tired of it any time soon.

Here is the latest update. I made good progress this past month as the eagle sillouet is now 100% framed in and I completed the mountain range. Now working on the river below. I figure I am about 75% complete for the whole thing.

We will be going on vacation next week so I am hoping I will be able to do some while relaxing; however, I never do get as much done as I hope on these trips.
