Ok so I hope I have put the link in correctly here is the picture of what my wip should end up like.
And this should be a photo of my progress so far. This is almost 18 months of work I was told about the baby very early on as the dad is my oldest friend and we were trying to get together for a catch up but mum was suffering with sickness and they kept cancelling. They decided to tell me so I didn't think they were avoiding me! Little one was born early January and I would like to finish this for Christmas this year.
I do enjoy stitching this when I do sit down to it. It is a mix of colour blocks and fiddly bits and no backstitch. It is being stitched 2 over 1 on aida but I cannot remember the count. I think it maybe 14ct but I cannot find the packet.
There is only 7 colours in this in total. It is a Vervaco kit. They are relatively straightforward to do. There is some fiddly bits in it but there are lots of blocks of colour in it too.
Looking at the two pictures against it does look like I have completed about 1/3 of the overall design. I normally start my stitching in the centre and work outwards.

I always find housework can wait relative to stitching. Its cats that can't & won't wait.
The picture looks like an interesting sepia tint and is getting on well. Pictures of babies are always nicer than the real thing, as a picture can't be revolting at both ends at the same time.
