As for the picture. It is amazing. It's a shame that it could have been better still, but the castle does really distract the eye from the dodgy bit of sky.

You have done a great job. It'll look superb when framed.

Thank you everyone, your thoughts and well wishes are much appreciated. My partner and I were incredibly lucky that a, we had moved out and b, the remaining bits of our belongings have not been touched by fire or smoke!

I keep telling my parents to try and think positive, they will be able to have almost a complete house redecoration and re-configuration for a fraction of the cost and hassle! My mum is getting bogged down in the things she may have lost (she doesnt know how well things like photos have survived yet) and I dont think she has felt the whole impact of this yet.

In other news I started a new project this morning - I have a slew of small christmas ornaments to make up so I will post some pictures of that at some point
