Ohhh that is fabulous Mabel, the bling from the bracelet sets him off perfectly, he looks right at home and sonehow any other plain sort of frame would not have suited him.
Perfect frame for a perfectly designed and perfectly stitched sheep!!!
I remain in awe of your creativity!

The sunflower is slow work, but very relaxing and rather meditative! Here's the final update before our visit to The Old Country; I'll take it and also the pouch with Mabel on it which will be more of a random pattern, and not so fine.
I've photographed it once in direct sunlight (the 2nd pic), and once in indirect - the direct one does show the sheen of the silk rather well!
You can definitively see the sheen of the silk. Beautiful work!

The sunlight sure shows up the beautiful threads you are using Mabel. Have a fabulous time "in the old country" and have a good rest from time to time just soaking up the atmosphere.

Very little done while away on holiday, but I did make a start on my project pouch, and I tried out the second shade of yellow on the sunflower. I'm not altogether happy with the placement of the stitches (too angled - I will do it differently on the next petals but I am NOT going to unpick this one!) but the colour difference shows up well, which I had been a little worried about
I've also picked the shades of silk I want to use for Soli Deo Gloria, my silk-and-gold flower - here they are with the golds (one of which won't be used, just haven't decided yet, and I forgot to put the spangles in the picture). There are three shades of each of the three main colours but I haven't decided yet whether to use only the two darkest ones or whether to include the lightest one as well.
Your project pouch is coming along nicely Mabel and will be so useful and your gorgeous Daisy/Sunflower is fabulous.
WOW the next one you are kitting up is going to be another work of art for sure. If it were me I would use all 3 shades of each colour - just a thought.
