Bottom left lightest pink is full cross stitch using 3 strands of thread - as I look at I can see it is slightly more prominent that the darker colour although it does not show up on this picture.
Blues above tree line are 3 different shades of denim, half cross stitch with either 3, 4 or 5 strands. Pale blue sky is half cross stitch with 2 threads.
I am alternating between blues & greens to make it easier on these larger sections. Will do more denims tonight & then go across to finish tall cypress tree & greenery around there before going back to the blues.
Realised I had made 3 mistakes but no one will know. I had to do a half stitch here & there in the green shrubs/trees. All was fine until a few days later am doing more greens there & thought I had not stitched the 3 crosses properly so did the other part (top)of the stitch. Had to laugh last night when I realised what I had done. These 3 half stitches would have added depth to each part but it's OK without, means my finished project will be unique!

Good. Don't tell us !
Oh all right then, you can tell us, but will you promise me never ever to point them out to anyone admiring your work? The number of times I've heard embroiderers reply to a compliment with "oh but you see that stitch really shouldn't be there, and that bit there is wonky, and the backstitch should have been done in dark grey not very dark grey, and...."
What a fabulous project, with all the different numbers of threads, Half Cross stitches etc...!
It is already looking lovely, Jessica

Jessica, I didn't mean to sound quite so forceful - sometimes of course it can be helpful to discuss mistakes with others who share our hobby. What I get exasperated with is lovely embroiderers who keep apologising for wonderful projects because there are tiny bits in it that are not exactly like the chart As you say, it simply makes the project unique!
Thanks for kind reply Mabel. I never did think you were forceful with the point you made. DH often tells me the same thing. To appreciate what I have done & not concentrate on any mistakes there may be.
This must go back to when I was a teenager & everything had to be absolutely just right. Used to exasperate my parents, especially my Mum, if I saw a mistake I would undo the embroidery/sewing until I got to the point where I could correct it. Even if Mum could not see it, & she was very good at noticing if anything was wrong, I would sit there until the mistake was corrected.
Of course, with knitting if the pattern was wrong (like with cables) & made a difference to the garment it had to be undone.
Also thank you to Poppy for your comments.
Oh,thank you Garnet, this has just come up as I pressed Submit.

That's lovely, you are doing well. The one I bought form the charity shop has a bit more done to it. All the blue above trees has been stitched & you can see the depth of the hills & mountains. Good idea to switch from blues to greens as quite a few variations of them covering fairly large areas.
Look forward to seeing this again. I intend to start the one I Bought in October. Evenings go forward an hour so will be glad to settle down with stitching again.
That is such a pretty design and oh so colourful and your stitching of it is fabulous. None of us would notice if there were one or two 'original' bits in it if you hadn't said so. That makes it unique of course.
Well Done it is really a beautiful picture of great stitching.
