Several things should be coming in over the next few days but today the first of my expected parcels arrived with this lovely lot of Madeira Lana threads (wool/acrylic) - I've got my tray ready for tonight to put them all on bobbins and store them!
And some more pretties - additions to my coton a broder collection. My present colelction is in the box, the skeins are the new ones. I really like #16 to work with (I'm using it on my napkin) but it doesn't come in as many colours as I'd like (the autumnal shades in the box are the thinner #25) - still, this is quite a nice range to work with
Oooooh such pretty new threads Mabel!! I must admit, I am just a wee bit envious!!! I am looking forward to seeing how you will put them to use!! Enjoy!!!

What a fabulous rainbow of colours that is Mabel and good on you for getting the tangle straightened out and onto a bobbin. A magnificent array for sure.

Roland, a good light is essential for your stitching. Great buy!
Mabel, wow, what a lot of absolutely gorgeous colour threads

My new book and magazine are second hand but I love them. The magazine is dated 1999, comes from the US and has the chart of the Angel of Cross Stitch in it. I already made a card using one of the chart in the book.

Look what arrives yesterday all the way from Australia!
Our lovely Sally generously offered these beautiful kits to someone who'd love them and luckily I was the one she sent them to.
I can't express how grateful I am and they will definitely be stitched in the (hopefully near) future. I think I want to start with Winter Memories, it's such a calm and beautiful scene.
