Ugh....Work!

I'm mostly stalking (lurking) right now. Work has kept me so tied up! Even when my store was shut down for a remodel I couldn't get time off.
It's mostly because another store is needing help and that's me I guess. I also have two store events coming up this Saturday and next. Between preparing for the events, filling in at the other, and training new staff I'm rarely home before 9:30pm and even today on my day off I've spent time on the computer creating advertising and worksheets for the job.
I don't mean to complain. It's more of a vent. I've been promise a vacation in July; I just have to survive LOL.
Positive things about my job: I'm always guarantee 40 to 40+ hours. At times the owner of the company makes a point to feed me (and not just fast food either). When my knees, ankles, or head are causing me problems I usually can find task that I can sit for (that way I'm still doing something) or I can take 5 to 10 minute mini breaks when no one is in the store and as long as I don't go over 15 I don't have to worry about clocking out.

I'm just feeling a little overwhelmed right now. I really should learn how to be irresponsible.

Glad you checked in! Sounds like life, at least work life, is keeping you incredibly busy. July will be here before you know and you'll have plenty of time to be "irresponsible", though I have a pretty strong feeling that is something you'd have trouble with. Good that you can take mini breaks or sit down for some tasks. Taking care of yourself when you have so much to do is very important. Check in to let us know how you are now and then and hopefully come summer you'll be able to spend time stitching and spend a bit more time with us too!

So good to see you posting Victoria but I am so sorry to read that life is keeping you so fully occupied now. for the break to happen in JUly which is not all that far away.
