Thankee kindly.
I am actually starting my Christmas holiday and am on leave for the rest of the year, which is nice. We had hoped to be going to a holiday let in the grounds of Leeds Castle, about 10 miles from here, but being in the highest Covid area in England, that's not possible. So, instead I did some work putting up guttering for our garage roof. However, i've given that up having accidentally given myself a 1" long by 1/4" deep gash in a finger on the edge of the steel sheet roof. Do feel really stupid. It hurts a fair bit too.

Anyway, thanks for your felicitations. As for the felines - they have, as usual, simply sworn at me on sight. Situation normal

Regards,

Richard.

Happy birthday, and enjoy your holiday...try to avoid further bodily injuries. Injuries to one’s ego are sometimes more difficult to avoid. :-)
