Could well be photoshopped, but funny anyway.

Definitely photoshopped, but I do know situations where that would be appropriate!

Those of you across the big pond may have seen this story, but I think it is worth repeating:

This is on FB but I think you can see it without an account. The person first sharing it described it as follows:

"This clip of a cat watching a horror movie is the funniest thing I've seen this year. Turn the sound up to hear the movie. And watch her pupils."

The very last moment, though predictable, is priceless

What a clever cat, to recognise the film as being something to get invested in. Seeing the eyes get wider & wider is wonderful.

Our Ozzie has worked out that TV screens are not real, same with mirrors. So, he's taken that one step further & dismisses anything behind glass as just another TV screen. As a result, if he sees us through the windows, he ignores us as if just another film. We often have to open the back door to get him to realise that the person he can see through the window is real and he can respond to us (as in come in for food, get out of the rain etc).
One ridiculous consequence was when we had guests round once. Ozzie is terrified of strangers, however he saw them in the 'screen' of our conservatory windows, and dismissed them as TV screen images. He them climbed in through an open window and was half way through the window when he realised the 'screen' strangers were real, and promptly turned into an orange ball of panic that fell into the conservatory and then ran in blind panic every which way trying to escape, finally leaping from floor level through the fanlight window he'd just come through. Silly mog.

Regards,

Richard.

I also thought the video was great. I've not had a cat ever get that interested in the tv, other than respond to any meows that come from it with a kind of confused look. Poor Ollie. Rosey is also terrified of strangers. My sister seems to be the only person besides my that she is not scared of and I like to think its because she senses the connection between us, rather than that she is easily manipulated into providing treats when requested. She is wary of everyone else, but will occasionally appear when regular visitors (daughter, close neighbors) appear. Most of my other cats would make an appearance to be admired, fussed over and generally let everyone know they are in charge.

Since Midnight won’t come downstairs and we have no tv in the bedrooms, I have no idea how she’d react. She does like to look at herself in the mirror, but I’ve no idea what she’s thinking.

Looks like a very current version of Windows to me. Our house comes fully equipped with the same sort of sash windows.

A clear road. So it was inevitable the truck should veer off. But... How did it land on a house roof?

The only time I have ever seen a truck on top of a house or high up in a tree, is when Hurricane Hugo came straight through us and lifted lots of things and left them in strange places. But I didn't see any wind, not even a gentle breeze in this video :thinks: Loved some of the comments too.

Meet the Man Making the Smallest Sculptures in the World

Some of you may have seen this, but as much as I love miniatures, this is way beyond anything I would have imagined.

I have always had a love for tiny things. I used to have a tiny book. In Niagara Falls you used to be able to buy a grain of rice with something written on it.
