Wow! This is lovely. I am def going to have a go at Blackwork soon, it just looks so good.
Sorry you aren't feeling great at the moment, hope you'll get some relief soon.
There's nothing better than a good friend, except a good friend with CHOCOLATE! Forget love! I'd rather fall in CHOCOLATE!

I love blackwork. It is done with either backstitch, or double running stitch (I believe it is called) or a combination of the two. I tend to combine the two as it makes it easier to do the small details inside of an area.

Thank you everyone! I appreciate the encouragement! I would love to see your blackwork pieces too, Fljotsdale, and Jilly.
Threadbear: I am starting to feel better because my doctor finally updated my medications after 5 years on the same dose. The new dose is helping quite a bit. I actually put away groceries and did dishes today and my pain stayed below a 5!! WOOT!!

It is fantastic! I am so happy! I continue to have increased pain the more I move around, but the medication can now handle it fairly easily. Now comes the fun, trying to rebuild the strength I lost having to take it "too easy" for the last couple of months.

Thank you! I am really enjoying working on it too!
