Well "Hibiscus' is finished

Here is the final flower finished:
Image
And the finished project:
Image

I have also made a start on my lickle teds for my invites and before I joined this forum I wouldn't have even thought about changing a pattern but now I decided that I didn't want him sitting on brown half stitches so I combined one strand of one of the greens with one of the brown and I got the first one finished yesterday:
Image

After finishing this piece I decided that I wasn't that keen on the mottled effect provided by using 4 colours for the bear so I am going to drop the white out and replace it with the cream (so there will only be 3 colours in the bear) so I started on the second:
Image
And now I have to :ribbit: all the cream I have stitched because I put an extra stitch into the bottom row and all the cream is based off that bottom row.

The flowers are gorgeous!
I love the way you have pllayed with the Ted pattern to suit your own tastes as well. I must admit, I do that as well and find it really makes it feel 'your own'.
Well done!

nice finished flowers... i love the teddy glad to see i'm not the only one who make pattern changes. that way we can say we made it off the idea of tatty teddies. it's true if you change things to personlize its.

how many more teddies do you need to make? he looks great also

All up I plan on making 10 invites as that means I have one I can put away for myself.

I think :ribbit: has been around a lot recently as we have had a few rainy days here, hopefully he'll move on when the rain goes away.... :x:

The second bear is finished:
Image
although some of his backstitch is out of line (because he is sitting under my qsnaps at the moment) but I definitely like him better using the cream.

I have really fallen behind on this though - I had hoped to have 3 or 4 done by now but life has gotten in the way (plus my own stupidity...) On Monday I got an email from my mum saying that my uncle was in town Wed-Fri and would I like to go over for tea one night? Well I said yes, then I got the stupid idea - why not invite them over to have dinner at my place instead? So instead of getting a night off from cooking, not only am I now doing the cooking, I have to tidy up my unit as well!
