Tiger In The Wave

Post by irishstitcher »

 This could all end in tears, I got this off ebay my friend also bought one. Unfortunately the instructions are all written in chinese and the edges of my pattern are worn so some of the symbols are worn off. I hopefully will photocopy my friends, I will photocopy the chart larger as the symbols are TINY lol.
I am just guessing that it is all full cross stitch and using two strands of thread as I cant tell any different  I am doing this alongside my other indian WIP so they will both progress slowly.

Anyway I guess its an adventure

Heres where I was up until tonight I stitched maybe two sittings before tonight.
Image

Here I am after tonight I am gonna try get to the edge to get some idea of where I am going. There are alot of confetti stitches.

Sorry photos are pretty bad quality.

It is an awesome picture and I wish you the very best of luck. I hope that you can work out what the chart is suppose to say. Have you thought about taking the chart to a local college/university and see if someone could maybe translate for you. :thinks:

I don't think I've ever seen this particular design before, but as I'm a lover of big cat designs I'll be watching your progress with interest :applesauce:

It's really beautiful - good luck with deciphering it!

This is coming along great! Are you finding it easier to work it out now? Just that you are doing so great with it, I'm assuming you've overcome the problems with the chinese somehow?

Well done anyhow, this is fantastic progress.
