So lovely - little fat cats :D :D :D

I'm sure this is going to be cherished for many, many years. Even though it's driving you a bit loopy I love the way you still have the patience to play and change colours/styles until you've got something you're happy with. There's been times in the past when I've just done "as per pattern" when it's driving me loopy

To be honest, I think it's the changing and adapting that's keeping me sane and interested :-)

The plank definitely looks better in brown than it would in yellow, I'm sure I'm not the only one waiting (im)patiently for the next update with the other kitty!

And here it is, the completed S and an overview of the "sob" I've now got. I'm going to try to get the I done as well before we leave, but if not, this is going to be the progress photo she'll get for Christmas :-(.
I had to do some impromptu changing to the backstitch on the ginger cat's lower tummy, as the original backstitch made him look like a very well-endowed tom...
From now on all the letters have only one cat, so they should be quicker (also less backstitching  ).

Gorgeous, Mabel! I am sure she will be over the moon with it, even if it isn't ready yet. Why don't you take it with you and do some more while chatting with relatives and friends back home?

Because after a nice Christmas meal, and chatting away, I need something with as few colour changes and as little counting as possible :-)!
