The fire is so warm and welcoming!

Not sure what to suggest about bulky backsides :-) -- it may very well be that there is no way to keep it unbulky, because as you pointed out you either have to carry the thread some distance, or you have to keep fastening on and off, both of which add bulk :thinks: :thinks:

Sorry I can't help with the 'bulky backside' problem as it's something I have problems with as well!! :whistle:

This looks so great!! :applesauce: I don't know what to do about the back, I've heard some people mention "parking" but I don't really know what that is or if it would be helpful.

I've finished pages 9 and 10. I love the detail! I'm still not happy with all of the confetti stitches and I've tried a few different methods and my final thought is that I'm just going to have a lumpy backside. :cry: It is what it is ladies....

To date:

That's a whole lot of stitchin' and I love every minute of it! :D
