DH saw the companion piece to this (Fall Fairy) in a catalog and mentioned that he liked it. He then saw this one at the store and liked it, too. I wonder if they will eventually end up in my stash. I was really surprised that he liked them because it's not what he is usually drawn to.

The Fall Fairy by Dimension Gold does not have the wings. It is a simpler version of the HAED design.

tiffstitch: I know I was getting all excited about the background especially the colour that I am working on now and it is coming along pretty good. I only complied because this is the first time he has ever just voluntered me for something like this. So I didn't want to punish her and say no I said sure had a nice talk with him about never ever ever do this again to me and he surprised me on purchasing everything.

Paul: I would totally volunter my bf to do this, but one small problem he does not know how to cross stitch in any way and form and I tried to show him and he stresses out so badly that on one of my projects that I was working on that he could practice on (also I was no longer interested in it anymore hehe ) he put a whole through the fabric because he that stressed about it. So in no way or form is he touching something like this until he learns to be calm. lol.

Busy_B: I have seen both the HAED and Dimensions version of the Fall Faerie and honestly I love HAED's version because it is absolutely clear and stunning the Dimensions I like only for the detail work that will be involved, but it looks a little distorted, even though she will be in my stash as well soon.

Thank you everyone for the encouragement and the comments. I have some great news I will have another week to work on her because the bf ordered the wrong materials for his friends project (I do not know how he did that) and and the floss that I had ordered awhile back finally arrived so I can now get all the missing areas filled in. Yay - happy dance time -

I guess it's great that you have another week for the Enchantress, but does that mean you have even more of a time crunch? Good luck with it all. I'd be like you if I got volunteered, do it the first time, but make it clear that it's not something that should be repeated.

Here is just the corner of the far right of the project... OOhh exciting. I have a full shot as well but my computer is not seeing it for some reason so I am trying a different approach to get it saved on to my computer. But I will have put it up.. yay.

tiffstitch: I will be on a time cruch that is for sure, but I have confidence that I an do it haha.

Juel: It is a little upsetting because I was really getting into her and wanting to finish her off, but the other design is pretty. I may try and find some time to sneak in a stitch or two on her but we will see.

Carole/rcperryls: Most definitely she will be worth the wait. Especially with all these encouraging comments she will be a show stopper when it she is all finished. .
