I just received my Cath Kidston book: Stitch, which I got for subscribing to Cross Stitcher. I have to say am glad it came 'free' with a subscription. Not sure about the projects in them, I have to gain a bit more confidence and a sewing machine it seems!
And I have received my 2 Charlie's Ark kits I bought from Ebay together for £12.
I've got the Special Delivery Birth Sampler and the Charlie's Falling Star.
I will make the falling star for my nephew and the birth sampler for my best friend who's pregnant!

I just got the pattern book "Love Kills Slowly" by Ed Hardy. It has 30 patterns based on some of his tattoos, and they are SO cool!

hehe well I'm not complaining about it ^_^ One day I'm going to get my future subbie without any mistakes, but I'd rather have two of the same one than have to ring up five times to get one
There are some lovely designs. The iris fairy by joan elliot a wolf by pollyanna pickering, some baby stuff, magnolia flowers from Angela Poole, the puppy love sampler to go with last months cat one, a wonderful artical on hoops and frames and a beautiful floral ABC.
I'm happy to send it on to someone who wants it. I did open it, but only to see if they were the same magazine or not. And if someone wants to trade that's fantastic. I'm always happy to get new stash, either cross stitching or knitting (I really want to learn to knit, but I can only make bunnies).

I received my 22ct & 25ct fabrics for 2 HAED charts I've been slowly kitting up.
1 white gridding pencil for dark fabrics and the blue marker that was mentioned on here as well.
And I finally purchased #8 & #12 perle threads along with some glisten gloss blending threads and my very first silk thread! I can't wait to play around with them!! I do believe the issue for me with the satin floss was using it on aida. I forgot how soft evenweave is. I believe I have some dark evenweave fabric that I'm going to give the satin another try with.
*forgive me if I posted this earlier in the week when the items first arrived...I thought it was on another board, but now I'm wondering...

Wow it has arrived quickly, hope you like them, posted at 12.30 in our little post office, in our out of the way town. The post from Spain to UK is excellent but it is not so good in reverse.
Had to laugh on Friday, we received a Christmas card, no not early for this year but late for last year. It had been kept back in the UK because the person had put a UK 1st class stamp on it and not one for Europe.
