Finally managed to get the needed fabric to do up Mabel's wonderful hardanger Delft design and also did up a small project for a friend's upcoming birthday.
Here's Winnie the Pooh--stitched up on 16 count white aida

And here's Mabel's lovely design--worked up on 25 count pale blue lugana and using Caron's Wildflowers and Water Colors in Tanzanite

Thanks so much for the design Mabel--really had fun stitching it up

I love your Delft colours. It is a fun design to do, is it your first hardanger?
It looks gorgeous anyhow!

The hardanger is beautiful. Gorgeous design and I love the colours you chose.

Love Pooh and the way you've adapted that bit of the design. I have the kit of it. It's Pooh's flowers, isn't it? I'm quite tempted to stitch it now as yours looks so cute :)

Thanks for all of the wonderful feedback--really loved stitching the design up--even the cutting wasn't as bad this time around--still need to find the ultimate pair of scissors to do that more easily.

This particular Pooh came from Pooh and friends calendar project--I just didn't do the entire month, think it was May or June--as I wanted to fit it into a card.

Pooh looks great, and the Tanzanite looks really bold on the hardanger, lovely effect!

Just finished stitching up one of kell's lovely designs. I stitched up love squared assissi design, but made it up into a bookmark--or it will be one when I totally finish it. Here's what it looks like now--used 16 count white aida and Carrie's creation hearts on fire for the borders and dmc 666 red for the rest of it
the border colors don't quite photograph as realistic as they are--the darker part isn't black but rather a very dark red

It looks fab! And I love the colour you used. :)

You do realise the same font is used for the Assisi Love Bookmarks 1 & 2 though? LOL!

Glad you like the color choices and yes, I did realize it was the same font, but I just really love the border style you had on the love squared one so did it up as a bookmark :D
