Thanks Mabel--I admit I rather enjoyed doing the beading, and the shade of bead you asked about is Mill Hill 00374 rainbow--I used the petite ones though as this was stitched on 32 ct fabric, so the number was actuall 40374
I must say a big THANK YOU to MaggieM for being so very nice as to not only give me information for what needle I need to sew those petite beads on, but to send me one in the mail!!! Thanks again Maggie!!! I could not have done the beading nearly as easily without your generosity!!

Karen, how many of the goddesses have you done now? You should start a thread and post all your goddess finishes in one thread, I'd love to see them altogether! They are gorgeous and you're doing such a wonderful job stitching them and so quickly too!

Dana, this is the only Goddess I've done. I did one of the Flower Fairies a while back--Iris Fairy. Fizzbw has done all of the Goddess ones though

By the way, have you got a thread that I missed on your Tatty Teddy trimming the tree?
I have a feeling it has got to be really cute. I love the name anyway.

I haven't got a thread started yet for Tatty Teddy trimming the tree--I'm going to try and start one soon, it won't take too long to finish--that being said, tatty's fur is always a right tricky thing to do, with the backstitching, but it's always worth it!!!

How surprising -- I've used that shade in several projects, and the ones I have look like an oil slick, you know, black but with lots of coloures on the surface; I hadn't realised this was the same shade

Great description of those beads Mabel--and I agree--yet they manage to look so nice added to stitching!! I have a feeling I will be using them again!
