Great to see a start on the Papillon SAL, it looks lovely!

I'm amazed I got as much of this stitched yesterday as I did,the high winds in our area kept knocking out the electricity, usually at a crucial stitching moment. Still, only two daisies to do now. Really looking forward to starting the next heart and seeing for the first time if my colour choices for heart no.2 look good together.

Lesley, this is beautiful. I am so hoping that my fabric is in this week-end so I can get started. I'm tempted to practice the stitches now, but then I will want to do it and I need to do a little, at least, on my other projects. But it is hard when I see yours.

My goodness this DMC 16ct aida is stiff!!!I have gone from the softness of jobelan to a fabric that will stand on its own in a corner.
However I am seeing the holes ok which is the main reason I switched to a different fabric for this design and also, I can use my stitching stand.

First a picture of the expanse I have to fill because I am working on 16ct fabric,hence my purchase of the 17"x17" snap frame and a close up of todays progress. This is definitely a long term project! but I just love the design.

great start. I can't wait to see this one being stitched. It is the only black and white I have in my wish list. Will be a while, I'm sure, before I ever think about doing it, but I love to look at it.
