Thanks for all of the wonderful replies!! I have finished stitching both of these and quite happy with the end result
Here is the Blackbird Designs one
And here is the Blackberry Designs Let it Snow
Just love the little birds in it, even if they were partially stitched over 1--snowflakes were as well---worth it in the end, makes it really nicely detailed
I had to redo the pics, these show the colors and details much better, my camera settings were off

Lovely finished to cute projects. Particularly love the snowman with the birds - unusual design & it makes me smile by just looking at it. Well done.

Another finish--this one is from the Blackbird Designs Lending Library on facebook, The Old Mill--on 32 ct Parchement Linen from Victorian Motto and using some of the recommended threads but also some from various suppliers
