10,100 stitches now. Another 900 and I'll be at the end of the row :) I think I'm going to go to the bottom next and clear up the blobby bit, that just bothers me...and will probably keep me quiet for a couple of months!

That is great, I bet you get so excited when you can say that row finished. It really is looking great. Can't wait for more pictures. :applesauce:

The stitches aren't so tiny, it's on 14 count. If I was starting it now I might go for a higher count and possibly stitch over 1, to make the whole thing smaller and more detailed, but when I was starting this I decided that I quite liked being able to see so would go with something nicely visible!

I've just looked at this thread and am open mouthed in amazement. You are doing a brilliant job of this and the painting is something I could happily live with. Keep up the super work, and take breaks whenever you need to. And try to stand back and look at what you have achieved more often!

Updatage :) I've already done a couple hours stitching this morning, thanks to my wonderful partner who I love very much I woke up absolutely freezing and wasn't allowed to get warm again, so I figured I may as well get up. Would you believe, there's nothing on TV at 6am other than the news...and there isn't that much news at that time of the day.

I got up to 6%!

By the end of this weekend I should be at the end of the row! I'm only 400 stitches away now, I've done another 200 since posting the picture this morning :D I'm enjoying this so much. I have to say, being on this forum has made a HUGE difference. Before coming here, when it was just me doing this, it was really hard work to get up the motivation to pick up a needle - because all I could really see was how much there was to go. Now, with people to show it off to, it feels like I'm doing this with a whole group of friends around me all the time, and all the time I can see how much I've done! You guys are awesome.

11,000 stitches!

Not bad considering I was on 10,000 on Monday, and didn't manage to get any stitching done two nights this week...! (I might take a break tomorrow though...)

I'm not doing anything so very different from anyone else! Mine's a little bigger than most (well, except the HAED cases of course!) but that's all :)
