Thank you for your kind comments. Here is a picture which was stitched for my colleage. Have just received a photo from her. The baby has a label from the maternity hospital attached to her hand(weight, height, etc)

What beautiful projects, and what a great idea to attach the maternity ward label to the birth sampler!

I also love the cats. Have stitched them twice- the first picture went to England to my friend's grandkids' room as a thank you for her giving me the book in which the design was (Donna Kooler's Seasons in Cross-Stitch). I enjoyed every bit of work on this design. In reality the kittens look much more true to life, and their faces have such cute expressions! But then I love cats, and beauty lies in lover's eyes.

An unusual birth record & lovely to have birth tag included. Also love the cats. This picture has a lot of colours in it & so much detail. Both have been really nicely stitched, well done

Beautiful birth sampler and so ingenious to attach the hospital tag! And I love the cats. What a fun piece to stitch!

The cats look incredible.
Do have a soft spot for them. Last evening our Maine Coon called 'Ozzie' fell asleep on my lap. It's unusual for him to go on a lap as he's so big - too big to go to sleep on a lap really. When he fell asleep, I had to support his bottom for well over an hour otherwise he'd have fallen off. Meant I couldn't do any stitching, but what the heck? He's a cat and therefore much more important.
Regards,
Richard.

Thank you all for your kind words about my stitchings. I should have explained, that while in Britain babies are founf in the trees, in Ukraine they are delivered by storks.

Guess I thought they were delivered by storks, too... but there are rumours that somehow cabbages are involved...
Love your stitching.

Cabbages are less popular nowadays, as eveybody is obsessed with safety and cleanness.

Most babies were found under gooseberry bushes when I was young, only occasionally brought by a stork!

Lovely to hear these sayings from other countries

My mam always said we were brought by storks (I'm from England)

We all had stork marks as well when we were babies, which are birthmarks that usually fade over time! Gorgeous cross stitches, it's really nice I think for children to have precious things they can keep forever
