I have been checking on the Forum but not posting very often as life has been rather "trying" for a while but all is good now.

This is an update on the Angel. I actually have done a bit more than this now but am waiting to move my frame down to take another photo.

Your stitching is so beautifully neat and even, and oh my goodness stitching her face and hands one over one really makes such a difference

I'm sorry life has been so trying for you recently, hopefully things will ease off going forward.

You are nearly there now, I can't wait to see this beauty finished in all her glory

Serinde, thank you for the discontinued DMC shade you gave me. It is the biggest project that I have ever stitched. It has taken me over a year so far to stitch, so it is lucky that I could use the right original thread for her face.
Sally also gave me the special threads to go with it, so all together it is a very special project to me.

I have now moved my frame to stitch the last bottom section.

Here is the latest update from this afternoon.
There is still quite a large area to stitch then only a little backstitch and some beads to add.
