The backstitch is there to try you, Lyudmila!

No matter what you decide to do about the acreage of backstitch, your stitching is lovely.

As of tonight. As I must have said before: the fabric is snow white, so you can imagine the project looks much lighter in reality.

Having such a beautiful cloth displayed in the living room must brighten any dull day. It is so lovely and beautiful, Lyudmila!

Exactly. And all that back stitch does make a difference. Beautiful work. Oh, and Happy Easter!

Thank you. But will have to take photos in the sunshine. Electric light changes the colours. To begin with, the Aida is snow white in reality.

It so difficult to take pictures that do justice to the colours and detail of such beautiful stitching - but even in electric light they look stunning, and your finishing is so neat!

I agree! It's superb even in indoor lighting!

Thank you all for your always finding kind words for my works. The older I become the more they mean to me.
This owl is now keeping me company as I stitch. If there is a "critter" in the design, it has to look at me first thing.

Is it a Little Owl? It's so lovely (my MIL loved owls).

This is the wide awake owl from Merejka's "It's Coffee O'Clock". The sleepy owl is easier to stitch, so it will appear later. I also like owls (but not their voices).
