Please forgive this one:

Slightly more pleasant than when Ozzie comes in with a live mouse wrapped in an ivy leaf because he's not allowed to bring mice into the house.

Not sure I like doing this as it's my first identifiable photo on the net, but I thought Squeaky was funny yesterday evening. I had just prevented him from grabbing Orianna's supper, and she snapped this photo while he was feeling persecuted. I was a little concerned he might struggle as he saw 'his' food disappear, but he didn't struggle at all.

Squeaky does look suitably horrified, however! The nerve of the kitten!

The very picture of a persecuted kitty

And how nice to "meet" you face to face Richard!

I must admit I'm not hugely happy I'm in the photo, but ...Squeaky...

Ah well, I'm far from the first to show their photo on the forum. At least I don't look much like the convict who got their photo on my driving license instead of me  .

Richard

The hard-faced woman in my driving license photo is a stranger, too. WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE?

Seriously overgrown Maine Coon:

Oh, sorry, you might not be able to see it. Not sure why. Spoiler: it's a full grown pet male lion. In someone's living room.

Saw them both. Yep, big cat. Not in my house. (Didn't one of those guys get killed by a lion?)

I honestly don't know. The lion didn't seem hugely domesticated from the way one of the two kept tapping it on the nose with a stick. Happened too often for me to have felt comfortable in that situation.

Richard.

Not a thing I would lightly do  - in fact, not a thing I'd do at all! Even our neighbour's semi-feral cat one boops at one's own risk, let alone something that size

The one with the nosey cats was one of my favourites, as was the horse....

They all made me smile, but the two nosey cats did it in particular. So true to what they do.

So technically this is my smile for yesterday...a family of Canada geese were at the botanic garden where I work and there were three young ones. Just look how fluffy he is!!! (And I made him my avatar....I finally have an avatar again...yay me.)
