Some update.
This is how the whole page looks at the moment. I halved it: one half illustrates the happy first half of the poem, the other the second part that is about losing all hope. It was difficult to think of what to stitch there then I found this assissi pattern and thought it would fit... .

I have finished To Hope.

I think I found a way to make the two halves completely different still connected somehow - with the blackwork motif around the assissi pattern. What do you think?
It's not ironed yet.



One of these days I will have to find time and energy to finish off the pages and put them in the folder. Also, I think it is time to find a pattern for the cover. I just bought these in Lidl, for a mere 1000 Fts (= about 3,5 Euros).

They will look wonderful all put together as a book, it's going to be a truly unique project -- and what a bargain on the eyelet punch!
