Such a lovely design and it's coming on beautifully. It must be very satisfying to have reached some detail now. Can't wait to see it grow :)

Charming design. :)
I can't manage 'parking' either: could never remember which needle held which colour! And besides, I managed to stitch through parked threads at the back... :doh: Anyway, so long as you stitch into the next block with threads of the same colour from the block you are stitching, you won't get seams.

This is progressing nicely - must be nice to see the figure start to appear. :D I don't think I'd have the patience stamina to stitch such a lot of background!

Yes, it is very nice to see her finally appearing. Confetti can be annoying, but I'd take that any day over the huge blocks of color in this piece.

And because of those color blocks, it's almost impossible to avoid seams on this one. I usually do try to continue a color until it ends for that reason, but some of these colors extend through three whole pages without stopping. So I'll deal with the seams and if they're still showing after it's finished and washed, I'll fix them then.
