Well, not really from the post person, but I had a mini stash raid during my lunch break at work...
Red, green and gold DMC metallics and a pack of Mill Hill seed beads in preparation for some Xmas card projects, a stack of small plastic pots for storage of beads and needles, and a hole punch for making my own project thread organisers

...ooh, and a water soluble fabric marker for gridding my projects

Another plastic thread storage box with 100 free bobbins and 50 skeins of DMC for my HAED. Simon let me wind the floss onto bobbins so they're ready to use and then packed them away for Christmas. The colours are gorgeous - all greens and purples!

Three colours of perforated paper (gold, silver and white) to go with the red I have already for Christmas ornaments. Also Anchor 1360 multicolour for a card plus the chart, embellishments and floss to make up the Just Nan Christmas Biscornu!

A little thank you gift from Mabel. Some 36 (?) ct (sorry, I can't tell what type of fabric--not familiar with much) and some varigated threads. Thank you Mabel!! I'll have to start figuring out what to do with them when I can do a different project after xmas. Feel bad you haven't gotten your floss yet. :? Hopefully it will arrive in the next day or two! :x: :x: :x: :x:

Fingers crossed -- I've been casting threatening looks at the postman already :-)

The fabric is 36ct linen; I thought you might like to experiment :-)!

At least my hunch was right. I thought it might be linen. Of course the minute my 3yo daughter saw it, she asked what it was for. I'm just surprised you haven't gotten yours since crazycat got hers last weekend I think.
