Thanks, everyone! :D
I just knew you'd love the flutterbys, Charmagne!

I'll post another pic tomorrow. I've completed the apricot part of the dress, but not the border yet. And I've done the butterfly beside the skirt of the dress, and the pale yellow background partway down... should have more to show by tomorrow. :)

Thanks for your comments, eveyone! :D Here it is. :) Not very pleased with the marks made across the stitching by the snap frames, but I'm hoping they will go away when I wash it. I've never had that happen with my old wood scroll frames. I've had to do a bit of frogging again, but it was my own fault this time - it's not a good idea to stitch while talking on the phone, even when it's a hands-free!
The missing stitches that you can just about see in the pale yellow are for beads.

Centre panel stitching done. :D Sorry the pic is a bit washed-out-looking; not sure if it was the flash or the daylight lamp shining on it as well!

Looking good, ain't she? Can't wait to finish it and do the backstitching. :)

Thanks for nice comments, everyone - I really appreciate your interest. :D

Well, as you can see, she is nearly complete. I wan't going to post another pic until she was done, but there will be a slight delay: firstly, I ran out of the black thread for backstitching, and, having gone through my DMC stash I was amazed to find I had no other black thread - GRRRRRRRR! Then I remembered my old Anchor stash (used to be my my mom's), and went through that. I was lucky and found a tiny twist, which I washed - not being sure such old thread was colour-fast. When it dried, I went back to my stitching, finished her hair, and a bit at the waist of the dress, threaded up to do the butterfly, and BANG! my daylight bulb blew. GRRRRRR again!
So, now I can't sew until I get another bulb for my magnifier lamp. I'm going to order another 2, plus a couple of skeins of black thread, from Sew and Sew, as soon as I get off here. Urgh! :ratherbe:
