Glad you got mine! Arrived there about as quickly as I'd expect, I send small parcels to Australia occasionally (ebay etc) and sometimes they get there slower than if I'd walked....

Oh, and as much as I'd like to be living in Canada, I'm still in the US. I just wanted to speak up about that because I really liked getting your letter initially and didn't want any future ones to go too far north!

Besides I have had letters sitting here finished stamped and all since Friday and only got them in the post this morning. So there is mail on the way for some and the rest will be done during the week.

Got Ceitidh's and Social Sue's letters today. Much more fun that the cell phone bill that came too! I am enjoying the different stamps also. I'm not a stamp collector, but I am saving these just because its fun.

I got some letters to write and I wanted to let u know that I have been working on my ceiling in my kitchen, laundry room and if time permitted, in my bedroom. I have to do drywall ....first put the compound on the drywall, then sand, then do it twice more after waiting 24 hours for the compound to dry before sanding. After the 3rd time, I paint primer paint and then the actual painting with the color of my choice. I need to do it this summer while we have hot sunshine during the month of August and before the rain season comes.

I will write asap when I need a break from dry wall duties.

I'm in the middle of writing. Got stamps today, so hopefully I will take a break from stitching and finish up and mail them this week-end. I wish I had been a stamp collector. Has anyone else noticed what pretty stamps there are in Canada, and Scotland and Australia?

I have letters to answer too, one from Ketta, as well as several others from around the world. Hopefully this weekend I will get down to them. I also need to catch up with my sister near Christchurch (NZ) and see when she is coming over to visit her daughter. Its all go at present around here.

Did get a little bit of stitching done today on a Country Companions Christmas one. Concentration not good though so was frogging a bit.

hello to all my penpals, I am sorry It is takeing me some time to write back ... I have started a few letters and hope to finish them by this weekend ... but life has been a bit hectic for me at the moment .... trouble with both my husbands family and mine

Also hope to get some stitching done again, haven't done much this summer
