I am posting my SAL here so as not to clog up the Papillon SAL thread with my part finished progress reports.
I started this weekend with the mission to stitch all of the outline for part 3,but then decided that it would be more interesting to do some other stitching too. My nemesis ie lazy daisy stitch is in part 3 with a vengence. it is called Russian Chain Stitch in this part, and some of the stitches are done in the metallic thread

It is in every petal
As I still have an ongoing battle with French Knots, even after nearly two decades of stitching

I am determined to conquer the lazy daisy, and I'm getting there, not as uniform as they should be but better than previous attempts and it makes it more individual
So here is part 1 of 4 petals in part 3

The back stitch is stitched in my palest green.I can see it because I know it's there! This is the green used in the instructions for all four petals, but, I am going to stitch with medium green on two of the petals as it is prettier(variegated) and shows up more. I'm so glad I didn't stitch any beads on part 1,it would have been a nightmare to put back on my frame. I am so glad I have my floor stand, I could not do the Lazy daisy without it,I need two hands, three would be even better!!!!
