Thanks. I've done a bit of stitching since the last update - the kloster blocks for Mabel's February SAL. Haven't done anything else though because my right wrist is acting up. I've been filling my usual stitchy time with reading books on my kindle fire that I got as a late Christmas gift.

I am getting over my cold, so I think I might just get some stitching done today since I'm done blowing my nose and coughing every 5 minutes.

Thanks. I'm not 100% yet... more like 80%. I can hardly talk, my throat is so raw from all the coughing. Been drinking lots of hot tea with honey today and that's helping to soothe my throat.

I've been waiting for a day where it's bright out with the sun overhead because they are much more vibrant than they appear in the picture. When I do manage to get the better pics, I will definitely post them - and send them to Mabel for the gallery to replace my current pics.

Thanks. It's still plaguing me a bit.

I'm hoping that my voice is fully back by tomorrow afternoon as I have a psych appointment that I can't reschedule... no clue how I'm going to manage to talk for an hour like this. Drinking lots of

with honey but it doesn't seem to be helping much.

I didn't get any stitching done last night as I had hoped because I couldn't decide what to work on.

I probably won't get any done tonight either as I plan to work on a blog entry and then I am going to my BFF's house to stay the night so I can babysit for her real early in the morning.

This evening Simba decided to help me stitch by laying on top of my chart.

Then he stuck out his tongue at me.

Cheeky cat.

I ran out of the variegated floss I was using for the main portion of the design, so I ordered a skein of it and am waiting for it to arrive before I finish it off. Working on it knowing I can't finish it off and that I wouldn't have all the pink swirls to count off of for the purple hearts was too annoying a situation, so it's rolled up and stashed away for a few days.
